Mrs. Rivera has been a passionate educator for the past 15 years. She is currently working on a Master of Education, Instructional Design degree and holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Governors University in Interdisciplinary Studies. Mrs. Rivera was an Americor volunteer and through that opportunity became a Reading Specialist, which led the way to an education degree. She steadfastly believes that every child has a purpose and a future and hopes that through teaching she can remind them of that daily. Mrs. Rivera has been married for more than a quarter of a century to the love of her life and has three wonderful children whom she loves dearly. A perfect day for Mrs. Rivera would include rain, a large tree with plush grass, a great novel and a big cup of coffee.
