Fine Arts Mentor
Born with a love of all things creative and artistic,Mrs. Lewis enjoys spending time exploring her own talents and passions and creating her own projects. Recently Mrs. Lewis made the decision to share her talents and passions with others and began pursuing her degree in teaching. Her desire is to teach students through experience how to understand art and how much it affects their daily lives.
Mrs. Lewis has taught in an unofficial capacity at Marlon Hills Elementary and with private groups over the past few years. She will begin her official teaching career as the Fine Arts Mentor at Capstone Classical Academy. She will graduate from Western Governors University with a BA in Elementary Education with the goal of further advancement in Secondary Education and Fine Arts.
Mrs. Lewis has had several gallery showings of her artwork including multiple showings at the Eccles Art Center. She enjoys photography, and collage. She loves the emotion of Impressionism from artists like Monet; she adores the whimsy of the Abstract from the artists like Kandinsky; she deeply admires the skill and perseverance of the Realism painters like Gustave Courbet.
Mrs. Lewis enjoys spending time with her husband Tim, and their five children in North Ogden.
